Just in case you've wondered about the relative silence at this blog this weekend: I started to re-implement the code behind codenews and the patchnews framework to a single one. It ended with implementing a more generic framework that triggers asynchronous jobs when something changes in the blog or other sources of information deliver new content. I think it will take some weekends but it's a good training in Python.

PS: Perhaps i will use it to build a static-file version of this blog.
