If you want good SciFi, you don't really want ST: Enterprise. You really want to watch the new "Battlestar Galactica" This show really showed me again what a good script can look like. I watched most Episodes of ST:Enterprise, but believe me: the best episodes there aren't even close to the stories of the new Battlestar Galactica. Among its features: actually 3-D characters (no cardboard cutouts), continuitiy wherever you look (instead of the occasional effort of the Enterprise writers), dark atmosphere and great camera handling (although, I suppose that is a matter of individual taste), a really great story that is actually worth following (compared to Enterprises approach of rehashing stories that had been done on older Star Treks ),...
Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with the producers or anyone else that makes money of that show... I'm just a member of the TV audience... and I'm surprised that good TV is actually still possible. Oh... while we're at it: look forward to "Desperate Housewifes" too, that show is just hilarious... |
